| CITAZIONE (Sblantipodi @ 15/1/2007, 18:46) Io rinominerei il thread in 3D speed + che 3D acceleration. Guardate cosa mi hanno risposto quelli del developer support. La mia domanda... -------------------------------------------------------------- Here we can see that V3xx have a built in nVidia GoForce 3D 4800. http://www.nvidia.com/object/motorazr_v3xx.html
I think that you should inform your customer if you use this chip to accelerate 3D midlet or not. If your customer may benefit from this chip also in a java environment.
I will wait but please, don't tell me that this is an information reserved for NDA ecc. ecc. We need to know if this is a dead hardware or not.
Regards, Davide Perini -------------------------------------------------------------- La loro risposta: -------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Developer,
I've checked with the engineering teams on this. The V3xx/MAXX uses the GoForce 4800 simply because it is an efficient GPU that handles larger camera resolutions and provides better battery life. The acceleration capabilities are not used in the V3xx because the handset operating system does not have an interface for hardware acceleration.
The engineering teams are aware that this is a feature wanted by the developer community, and when we do produce a handset which integrates hardware acceleration, it will be announced on the MOTODEV site.
Best regards, xxx-------------------------------------------------------------- Roba da pazzi. Ancora niente. Che nervi... ok?
